talent pool

Manhattan offers a variety of options for finding the quality employees you need. Every year more than 4,000 K-State grads, 250 technical college grads and hundreds of transitioning Fort Riley military personnel supply an incredibly talented labor pool for area employers. Many Fort Riley employees have advanced degrees and are excited to embark upon their civilian careers in the region.

Manhattan is also a part of the 80-mile "Kansas I-70 Talent Corridor." This puts another 6,000+ college grads annually into the talent pool from which a business can draw. More than 1/3 of the 30,000+ people in our area's "available talent pool" have a bachelor's degree. Area employers value Manhattan as THE place to do business.

"64% of K-State students have said they would stay in Manhattan if they could find suitable employment."
